By accessing or using Current Events at current-events.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Current Events is a trip-planning application for sea kayakers. It aggregates tidal current predictions, tide data, wind forecasts, swell conditions, and marine weather from government and third-party sources into a unified view.
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Current Events is not a navigation tool. It is a planning aid that presents predictions and forecasts from third-party sources. It is not a substitute for official nautical charts, real-time weather observations, or sound seamanship.
Conditions on the water can change rapidly and without warning. You are solely responsible for your own safety decisions. Always check official sources, carry appropriate safety equipment, and exercise independent judgment before and during any paddling trip.
3 Raccoons LLC is not responsible for any decisions made based on information displayed in Current Events.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
Current and tide predictions, weather forecasts, and other environmental data are sourced from third-party government agencies and providers. This data may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of any data displayed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3 Raccoons LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
